The Hopeful Warrior Project

The Hopeful Warrior Project’s mission is to help empower patients by giving them access to the right information and local support resources when they need it the most.

The Hopeful Warrior Project provides Warrior Bags to newly diagnosed young adult patients at Lurie Cancer Center in Chicago.

Each Warrior Bag will contain the following items:
·      Reusable drawstring bag for treatment
·      Water Bottle
·      Intention Journal
·      Resource Guide

How it Works

Each Warrior Bag contains a Local Resource Guide to help patients quickly access information and other support resources for treatment including lodging, therapy, financial assistance and mental health help.

Patients can use their mobile phone to scan the QR codes on the card to access the support resources.
